Privacy
Last updated 16 October 2026
This notice covers mezlasoft.com and email sent to info@mezlasoft.com. Each of our products has its own privacy policy: lite-type's privacy policy.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Patrick Quigley, trading as Mezlasoft, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@mezlasoft.com, or write to [Postal address to follow].
What this site collects
Nothing. mezlasoft.com sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, has no forms and loads nothing from other websites. The pages are served by Amazon Web Services (Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3), which handles your IP address to deliver them, as any web host must. We have not switched on access logs, so the site keeps no record of your visit.
If you email us
We receive your email address, your name if you include it, and what you write. We use them only to answer you, because it is in our legitimate interest to reply to messages, or because you are asking about something you bought. The mailbox is hosted by Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation), which stores the messages for us.
We keep emails for as long as we need to answer them. Emails about a purchase are kept for six years, because UK tax law requires business records to be kept that long.
Where your data is processed
Amazon Web Services and Zoho may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or send it to you or to someone else in a reusable format. Email info@mezlasoft.com. We reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email us first. We acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you the outcome without undue delay. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
